Update March 12, 2010:

Ollie is finally scheduled for his firs t leg surgery next week.  If you are interested in following my recovery please stop by here and visit me.

Ollie had surgery on his right front foot today, hopefully, to correct his handicap so that he will be able to live a normal, productive life.  The vet said he came out of the surgery with flying colors and we will go pick him up tomorrow morning.  Then the healing will begin.  This will be a long process and Ollie needs our prayers for a full recovery but hopefully we are well on our way to giving him a very happy ending.

Thank you all for your prayers for him and for your donations to help us give Ollie a new and wonderful life.

Caroline

Because I am so special I was named after a great man which is my guardian angel is name is Oliver Reuben Dalshaug.  For short my friends call me Olly, I hope you will be my friend too and just call me Olly. I love friends I never had any where I came from .. I was really sad there and in my nightly prayers I ask God to send someone to save me.  This year my prayers were answered, he sent pug rescue!

I came to pug rescue on Nov. 27, 2009 I have a paw broken paw most likely it happened when I was a baby but I can’t remember!, my puppymill owner NEVER have it fixed!  So the handicap made my other leg bow out BAD so it would level my front feet when I walked where my broken paw was never fix to help my leg height level so I could walk again

I was around so many other dogs and played so much my eyes got scratched so now I also have bad scaring on my eyes and I also have dry eyes and needs drops daily.  But this doesn't stop me he I am just happy to be alive and I adorable and love everyone!

Everyone who meets me says I am as sweet candy, but my foster Mom says I’m pitiful right now whatever that means and wants to be able to fix my front legs so I can walk normal again.  After all I thought I was normal… anyway, so I’ll do whatever she wants because I want to make her as happy as she really loves me..........  She says this way I can also make the new family who adopts me happy too.

I have seen doctors for evaluations and e-rays in hopes they can do surgery to fix his front legs.  They says this is going to be a long expensive process and I will feel a lot of pain, but will help me overcome that part my foster Mom told me so I'm not scared at all now.

Pug Rescue does not have much money to afford this so a loving lady who owned my great angel from heaven knitted a couple sweaters to help raise funds for my several thousand dollar surgery I know times are really hard now on everyone but If you could spare just $1.00 to help rescue could so they afford this expensive surgery on my legs I could live out the rest of my life walking better and happy...  Please help me and make your tax deductible donation today to help me walk normal again.
