Pug Rescue of North Carolina's (PRONC) main office is based in Summerfield, N.C. Our mailing address is: P.O. Box 94, Summerfield, N.C. 27358. We have official volunteers in different states, so contact us for a representative near you.
Since we now service many different states we have two domain name website addresses:
Our official corporate name remains the same.
All pugs we rescue are fostered in our homes, nurtured back to health and socialized into our families. Please remember that we are a volunteer organization. All of our volunteers have full time jobs, families, etc. and use their free time to check emails and get your application processed. If you haven't heard from us within 2 weeks, please check our website to see if the animal in question has already been adopted or contact us through email admin@pugrescuenc.org.

Who to contact about adopting a pug?
If you would like to adopt a pug, you will need to fill out our adoption application first! Then contact, via email, the foster family listed for more detailed information pertaining to the pug you are interested in. It's an easy online process and can be found here:
This application does not qualify or disqualify you for adoption.
The following guidelines have been established to speed up the placement process.
To submit an application you need to either request that one be mailed to you via USPS or use the link above to complete our online form. It is essential that we have the name AND phone number of your Veterinarian who can verify that your current and/or past pets meet our policy requirements.
In order to be considered for one of our pugs, it is our policy that your other animals be spayed or neutered, current on all vaccines including rabies, parvo, distemper and are on a heartworm preventative. We do not require fenced in yards unless a specific pug needs one.
Please include all questions and comments at the end of the application. The foster parent will contact you after they have reviewed your application.
Who to contact to surrender a pug?
You will need to fill out a surrender form if you wish to surrender a pug to us. Keep in mind we are unable to take in mixed breeds at this time. The rescue chairman will get back in touch with you about arrangements. Our surrender form can be found here:
