For perhaps, if the truth were known, we're all a little blind, a little deaf, a little handicapped, a little lonely, a little less than perfect. And if we can learn to appreciate and utilize the dog's full potential, we will, together, make it in this life on earth."             Charlotte Schwartz

Help Us Save a Life

*****We can Help!*****

Everyone at Pug Rescue of North Carolina is dedicated to the pug breed. We want only the best happy, healthy life for the pugs.

All pugs we rescue are fostered in our loving homes, nurtured back to health and are socialized into our families. Each pug we rescue is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, brought back to health before they are ready for adoption.

Everything we do is totally volunteer, we have no paid employees and the funds are so very limited, as vet bills are soaring high. We depend on your support in helping us save the lives of these pugs. Won't you please help us!

If you are unable to foster, transport, etc., click the links below to find out other ways you can help:

*****Please remember this "BEFORE" you place your pug into any Rescue System*****

Prior to surrendering your pug, check references on the organization as well as the rescue representative. You may contact the Central Carolina Pug Dog Club, Inc, Pug Dog Club of America, Inc. and the Internal Revenue Service for references on our organization.

So be very careful whom you release your pug to. There are many people out there only wanting to get your pug to sell it for money, dog fighting or even use it for animal testing!  Don't be fooled by a scam.

Do the best thing for the Pug; get them to a safe place where it will be loved and cared for by professionals of a legitimate organization!
